Més de 700 models de vehicles, 180 empreses expositores i 34.000m² de superfície expliquen el lideratge de l'esdeveniment a nivell europeu
Caravaning 2025 kicks off with a focus on experience, technology and sustainability
The 38th edition of the show, which will take place from Saturday 11 to 19 October at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue, will once again turn the city into the epicentre of a tourism model in full expansion, confirming its status as the leading event in the sector in Spain and second in importance on a European scale.
During these nine days it will host a commercial exhibition that will bring together the most important brands in the sector, such as: Adria, Benimar, Caravelair, Carthago, Concorde, Dethleffs, Dreamer, Elnagh, Fendt, Ford, Frankia, Giottiline, Globecar, Hymer, Knaus, Mc Louis, Mercedes, Mobilvetta, Nissan, Pilote, Rapido, Rimor, Roller Team, Sterckeman, Toyota, Volkswagen and Westphalia, among many others.
The event will also have spaces dedicated to camperization, rental, outdoor fashion, accessories, tiny houses, mini-caravans and other light models that allow you to get started in caravanning with a moderate investment.
According to José Manuel Jurado, president of the Spanish Association of the Caravanning Industry and Commerce (ASEICAR) and co-president of the Organising Committee, “the Caravanning Show will once again be the main platform to discover the latest trends in the sector, a catalyst to boost its sales and a meeting point that will attract thousands of fans from all over Spain”. For her part, Susana Colom, president of the Gremi d’Empresaris del Caravaning de Catalunya (GREMCAR) and also co-president of the Committee, highlights that “this year we want to continue adding new users and, especially, young families, to further extend the love of nature tourism”.
Innovation, respect for the environment and versatility
Caravaning 2025 will emphasize sustainability and digitalization as major trends. Along these lines, the brands are committed to influencing the efficiency of vehicles and progressively increasing the electrified or hybrid offer. Likewise, there is also a proliferation of intelligent systems that allow models to be completely automated and control functions such as lighting, heating or water level from the mobile phone. This trend turns motorhomes into real connected homes on wheels.
The camperivan conversion is another of the great trends that can be seen in the show. In this sense, the event will host in its exhibition area that will bring together modular solutions that allow vehicles to be transformed in a simple way and without large investments. These proposals respond to the growing demand for adaptable models, especially among young and neophyte audiences, who are looking for spontaneous getaways and personalized experiences. Manufacturers rely on innovative interior designs, such as rotating baths, L-shaped kitchens or facing seats, which optimise space and improve comfort. This versatility of the spaces gives the caravans a great deal of flexibility that allows them to respond to different travel styles and user profiles.
Travelvaning, a space for outreach
The show’s informative area will be structured around the Travelvaning space, which will offer a full programme of conferences, round tables and presentations focused on the latest trends in the sector. This forum has established itself as a key knowledge platform, both for the most experienced users and for those who are new to the world of caravanning. In addition, the show will have a personalized advisory service by experts from the specialized virtual forum AC Pasión, who will attend to the specific needs of each visitor.
Designed for families, the Caravaning Kids space will be the ideal place for the little ones to discover the world of caravanning in a fun way. This year, the children’s area has been completely redesigned by the social initiative cooperative Tata Inti, which has created a playful, inclusive and 100% sustainable environment. The activities will be adapted to all ages and will encourage free play, respect for the environment and creativity, making the room an enriching experience for the whole family.
As part of its commitment to improving the visitor experience, the International Caravanning Show 2025 will offer this year a specific car park for those who come with their camper or caravan. This measure reinforces the event’s commitment to comfort and accessibility, allowing attendees to enjoy the event without worrying about logistics.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Spanish Association of the Caravanning Industry and Commerce (ASEICAR) and the Gremi d’Empresaris del Caravaning de Catalunya (GREMCAR), Caravaning 2025 will occupy a total of 34,000 m2 of net surface area in halls 2 and 3 of the Gran Via venue.
